Writing- January

We will be writing summaries this month on compare/contrast, fiction, and nonfiction text.

The students will also be practicing creating topic sentences and hooks for summary writing. We will be focusing on three types of summaries; nonfiction, fiction, and compare and contrast writing. Read with your child and have them give you the main idea of what you read to check in on their thinking.
